The Fabulous Mz. Nicole

I always boast about having such wonderful clients.  I am truly a lucky lucky gal when it comes to my job and I certainly count my blessings.  The lovely lady I’m about to talk about is no exception (nor, it should be mentioned, is her mother).

Less than 48 hours ago, I received an email from someone interested in getting professional acting headshots for her fifteen year old daughter.  The only catch was, our starlet had an audition on Monday and so it was very short notice.  Could it be done???

Of course it could!

So, over to my house came Nicole and her mother.  And what a delightful duo they are.  Not only was Nicole a natural in front of the camera, but we had a great time chatting about theatre and Weymouth and all the good stuff we could cover in the short time of our emergency mini session.  Once again, I was left with a smile on my face as I packed up my studio equipment for the night… I am so lucky to have built this career for myself so I could meet wonderful people like Nicole and her mother.  So, thanks, ladies.  You ROCK!

Anyway.  Onto the fabulous Mz. Nicole.  She did such a great job.

I’m including the above shot because the amazing thing about it is:  this is the first shot of the evening.  See what I mean?!  Total pro.  Usually it takes a couple shots to get people to feel this comfortable in front of the camera.  Though it’s an adorable shot, it’s not one I’d pick for the official headshot because it’s very straight on and is lacking interest (meaning, the photographer didn’t set the shot up well — but I was just checking my lights!  How was I to know she’d hit it out of the park on the first shot?!?!).  I just had to include it because I am amazed at how well she did right away.  You go, girl.  Yup, I said “you go, girl.”  I embrace my inner nerd.

The rest of these could all work for her budding career.  Which one would YOU choose?

And lastly, a more serious look.  What a gorgeous girl.  Even in black-and-white, you can just TELL how stunning her eyes are.

Another thank-you to Nicole and her mother for getting in touch.  I hope you’ll be clients for life because you’re just fabulous people to be around!  Plus, my cats love you.  Hahaha.

As for the audition on Monday, BREAK A LEG! You’ll knock ‘em dead!

Not only are these pics FAB Kerry; but so is Nicole! I hope she sang for you! This gal is going places for sure! She’s a good friend of Brianna’s and has one of the best voices I’ve heard! :)

She did NOT sing for me… Maybe I’ll keep her prints hostage until she does. :)
